Ioanna Kekatos is a NorthShore native and a Graduate Student majoring in Digital Media with a Bachelors in broadcast journalism from Loyola University Chicago. In addition to her journalism bachelor's degree, she has hands on experience working at WGN, NBC's Nightly News with Lester Holt, and Rambler Sports Locker.

 

 Ioanna has a passion for storytelling and doing so in an ethical and just way. From sports and entertainment, to local news and politics, Ioanna has covered it all. She is the head anchor and reporter of Rambler Sports Locker, the only student-run broadcast show at Loyola.

Ioanna has also attended a Chicago Bulls game as official media and was able to interview players and coaches postgame. She enjoys working in high-pressure situations. From researching and interviewing to recording and editing, she likes to follow the story from beginning to end.

When she’s not working towards her degree or covering a story, you can probably catch Ioanna taking a SoulCycle class, trying a new restaurant in town, or spending time with her huge Greek family.
